Vitamin E is a light yellow oil and fat soluble vitamin, which can be extracted from many seed plant oils, that is mainly a family of substances, tocopherols and tocotrienols, collectively known as « tocols ». Our Vitamin E deriv. reference material collection covers the 8 main substances of these two famillies. Our tocopherol standards and tocotrienol standards are highly purified substances in the naturally enantiomeric forms.
These tocopherol and tocotrienol reference materials can be used as quantitative titration of these components in complex lipidic mixtures and to authenticate origin of natural oils.
