Terms & conditions

We would ask you to always indicate on your order form :
  • - your company name,
  • - the reference code,
  • - the required quantity of the product,
  • - your complete delivery and invoicing addresses,
  • - your intra-Community VAT identification number, even for France, if you are domicilied in the EU.
  • - The prices are given in euros. They are "ex-works". Any possible modification in price given will be specified before dispatch.
Before any order, the buyer must make enquiries with relative authorities to which he is associated about the admnistrative and customs formalities necessary for the purchase of the products that we are sending him. The customs nomenclature codes mentioned on our sales documents are supplied only as an indication. It is the responsibility of our customers to check the validity with their customs authorities.

The case of special deliveries
For the hazardous products, the expenses relative to this transport are the responsibility of the customer whatever the value of the order.

Availability

In almost all cases, we have the necessary stock to meet any order in the packaging quantities proposed in the catalogue. Nevertheless, if a product is not available, we will inform our customers of the estimated dead line of availability.
We reserve the right to cancel an order in the case where circumstances outside our control would make production or supply impossible.
Any delay in delivery cannot in any case involve cancellation of the order on the part of the purchaser.

Return

Any order received in our premises and dispatched by our services cannot be subjected to modification or cancellation by yourselves – we do not accept any return of goods failing error on our part.

Payment

Invoices are payable on reception whatever the amount of the invoice.
Any order implies acceptance of our terms of sale.
In certain circumstances, we reserve the right to request payment at the time of the order.

Liability

The products proposed in this catalogue are prepared for Research, Control and Analysis laboratories. They can only be delivered on reception of a written order from duly qualified bodies or companies considered as purchasers. All transactions with private individuals is excluded.
Before use, the purchaser must enquire into all risks for Health, Safety and Environment inherent to the handling of the products he is purchasing. He must be particularly careful when he envisages carrying out transformations resulting in a modification of structure in the chemical base product.
We can in no case be held responsible for transformed products, and sub-products resulting from this transformation.
In other aspects, the purchaser recognizes that no control on the effective or harmless nature has been carried out on the products supplied by the seller in the fields such as - pharmaceutical drugs, cosmetic products, pesticides, food-stuff additives or products for domestic use… this list is considered as incomplete.
Our products must not be employed as-is, for drugs, cosmetic products, food-stuff additives, products for veterinary or agricultural use…
On reception of this order, the purchaser uses or stocks the products supplied for which he is responsible.

Toxicity

Relative to the use of the products generally considered as potentially harmful, the directions for use to be followed are indicated on the packaging label, in compliance with the laws in force.

Moreover, they are dispatched with a Safety data sheet - these sheets have been drawn up to meet the ruling concerning the Labour Laws.
These are in no case analysis certificates. The recommandations indicated are valid for products used in normal conditions (relatively short storage particularly for those where the label bears the indication -20°C, +4°C or "keep in a dry place" and "products not preseved in solution form").

Allocation of jurisdiction

In case of litigation, the Court of LYON has sole jurisdiction to settle the dispute.
